Erin Elliott was born, raised and educated in Austin, Texas;  Andrea Williams, in Massachusetts.  Both were interested in pursuing careers in technical fields early on, but were pulled to a career serving people.  Erin earned degrees from both Texas State University and University of Texas at Austin.  In 2003, Erin accepted her first position with the American Cancer Society (ACS) in Austin.  In 2008, Erin moved to Atlanta.  Today she is a Patient Resource Navigator for ACS at NorthsideHospital.

Andrea is a more recent transplant having migrated here via Charleston, South Carolina about a year ago.  Andrea is a Patient Resource Navigator for ACS at Dekalb Medical Center.  ACS’s Patient Resource Navigator program is, in Andrea’s words, “all about saving lives and having more birthdays”!  She and Erin spend their days helping make their patients’ live just a little easier by helping locate resources for transportation, accommodations, financial assistance and much more.  Not only do they coordinate the resource of the American Cancer Society, but they bring together a vast array of resources that would be impossible for patients to assemble on their own.
