Time Management - Prioritizing your Time

Sep 04, 2012

Have a look at the graphic below.  Every task on your “To Do” list will fit somewhere in the grid.  Think about some of the things you do each day that take the most amount of time.  Where do these tasks fall on this grid?

Tasks that take a lot of time, and have little value fall into the lower left quadrant.  These are items that you should STOP DOING!  Items that have a high value, and take little time should be done immediately.  These are your “low hanging fruit”.  Often you can knock out several of these items quickly, and feel a great sense of accomplishment!
