One of our highest priorities is finding the most qualified, caring, trustworthy and compassionate Caregivers in the Atlanta metropolitan area.  We have experienced recruiters that specialize in nothing but finding outstanding Caregivers for our Clients! Our mission is to find the right Caregivers to fulfill the requirements of any Client. Our seventeen-step screening system is unparalleled in the industry, exceeding State standards and aimed at truly getting to know a Caregiver before being placed on our registry, or on a case. Typically, less than 5% of the Caregivers inquiring make it through our exhaustive process, which includes:

  • Initial telephone interview to check qualifications, communications, capability and compatibility with this profession.
  • Scheduled appointments, no drop-ins.
  • Face to face meeting with a specially trained recruitment staff.
  • Evaluation of practical skills, communications capability, literacy, integrity and personality.
  • Comprehensive assessment of at least four references (professional and personal)
  • Criminal record check.
  • Nurse aide registry check
  • Proof of CPR/First Aid, driver's license, insurance, US work authorization.
  • Fitness to work screening which consists of at least a TB test.
  • Comprehensive orientation to the State's and company’s policies and procedures.
  • Routine telephone follow-up and home visits to ensure continuing client satisfaction.

Value

  • Our pricing structure is regularly reviewed to ensure Clients pay a reasonable fee for exceptional service.  We believe it is our responsibility to steward our Clients’ investment in their non-medical home care.  Our rates are specifically designed to be among the most affordable in the industry.
  • Caregivers are often able to make 10-15% more than their peers at other companies, attracting the highest caliber individuals in the field. 

Client Case Coordination

  • Free initial consultation and home visit conducted for each Client when the case begins to assess needs and offer the best possible caregiver, evaluating physical, emotional and social needs.
  • Client satisfaction is ensured via regular communication, often as frequently as weekly, as well as quarterly visits to the home by an RN or other qualified individual.

Quality Control and Oversight

  • State licensed agency enabling our Caregivers to perform personal care services such as bathing, dressing, transfers and continence care.
  • Actively lobby for higher screening standards to protect our Clients operating in compliance with the IRS, USCIS, DOL, and OSHA.
  • Oversight from Georgia Department of Community Health and our corporate office to ensure that our offices meet or exceed Georgia state requirements and our stringent corporate requirements.

"Other" Agency Home Care Standards

  •  Client rates at other agencies are often double the hourly compensation paid to the Caregiver to pay for glossy brochures, national advertising, back office staff and expensive offices.
  • Caregivers often paid low hourly wages ($8.00 to $9.00 per hour), forcing companies to accept candidates who cannot find work elsewhere.
  • Interviews are often conducted on the phone or in a group setting, with little or no follow up to check references or abilities.
  • Caregivers may be hired on the spot (sometimes over the phone) and sent on cases from the interview while meeting minimal standards.
  • One or two references are “contacted” usually consisting of verification of prior employment dates only, or a cursory checklist of qualities.
  • Criminal background checks are conducted only once, during the initial process, regardless how long they stay with the company.
  • TB tests, CPR/First Aid and other credentials are not always required of caregivers.
  • Home visits are often not conducted.  When they are conducted, they are often conducted for a fee.
  • Follow-up home visits may be sporadic or non-existent.
  •  Some agencies are unlicensed, causing Clients to handle their own personal care.
  • Limited support or oversight from a Corporate office or franchisor.
